OOTD - leather, studs and unicorns.

Tshirt -Me&Yu
Pleather skirt - ebay
I've had my eye on a 'pleather' skirt for a while now, but was unsure weather to go for it, so when I saw this one on Ebay here for only £12 I decided I had to get it. I was definitely unsure about buying a faux leather skirt offline because you never know if it's going to look cheap or tacky, I'm glad I got it though it's good quality and isn't too shiny at all!

I paired it with my newish top (is it still classed as  new after I've shown it on here? hmm) to keep it casual and simple because it's definitely a statement piece which can be worn for any occasion. I'm thinking of doing a 'How to style' post with this skirt? What do you think?

If you follow me on Twitter you may have seen that I've been thinking about wrapping my hair and I finally got round to doing it, it was a lot easier and more time consuming then I expected, but I think I'll definitely be doing it again.

Here have a bit of Mcfly's new song Love is easy. They are my guilty pleasure, although I feel no guilt in loving them! Did anyone see them on Surprise Surprise last night, how perfect were they?!

“Fashion changes, but style endures.” ― Coco Chanel

Have you seen Kelly Osbourne recently?! (well obviously you see the pictures first) How stunning has she got?

I've been thinking about doing a post on Kelly for a while and just never seemed to get round to it, so here it is! She's really got herself known in the fashion business, especially in the last few years, starting a clothing line, starring in the show 'fashion police' (which I can't seem to be able to watch at all) and being the face of Madonna's clothing line.I particularly love how she wears classic pieces adds her own twists with her purple hair, accessories and mixing with all different eras.

"You know I was having fun [when I was heavier] but no one takes notice of a fat girl in fashion. That’s the truth! It’s sad. That’s why I love women like Beth Ditto who are doing their own clothes. That’s why when my line comes out I’ll never make anything that won’t be translated to plus-size as well. Because everyone deserves to wear fashion."

OTTD - I have a confession...

I'm a geek and proud!

Geek top - Missguided
If you read my blog before then you'll now I've had a bit of a palava getting this top. I first saw the Topshop version on another blog but couldn't find it in Topshop, by chance I saw this one on Missguided and missed out by literally a couple of hours and then it came back into to Topshop in green, but I couldn't bring myself to pay £18 for a t-shirt when I'd seen this one for £11 and when  it finally came back into stock I snapped one up as soon as possible.

I tend to end up buying things in black when it gets to autumn winter just because it's so easy to dress and I dress for comfort and with less thought when I want to be hibernating! It's a size Medium to large and a lot smaller then I thought it was going to be, but I'm satisfied none the less.

Oh and how cold was it today?! Gives me an excuse to wearing my Uggs, getting in my pyjamas early and sleeping with a hot water bottle aaaand it's literally just under 2 months till Christmas!

OOTD - "Do you think people will laugh at you because you're wearing your knickers?"

Tshirt - Me&Yu
Velvet shorts - Ebay (little DIY)
These pictures do no justice to both the shorts and tshirt, maybe I should get up a little earlier in the mornings to take a few pictures for decent lighting and hair? But I do like lying in bed, woman problems and all.

This T-shirt was featured on my blog previously in a I wish post here it came only yesterday and I really love oversized t-shirts at the moment as it's puts that extra comfort to a casual outfit. It has 4 unicorns on it and where it's tucked in it says 'The four unicorns of the apocalypse' and I was torn between this and another to buy so when in doubt and flip a coin and this is what I ended up. It did turn out to be a little on the big side but who can turn down an oversized t-shirt?

I've been looking for a pair of velvet shorts for a while now but the only ones I could find where 'knicker shorts' however I refuse to have my bum cheeks out! So when I found these and at pretty reasonable price I had to snap them up, I even added a little black lace around the bottom although you can't really see it. How comfortable are they though?! On reflection I would probably wear a lighter pair of tights or a different colour to show them off a bit, it really does look like I have nothing on or as my little brother says "my knickers." Ahh well I adore them!

OOTD - Khaki, studs and red lipstick.

Khaki shirt - Asda

Like everyone else I needed at least one item of Khaki in my wardrobe for AW and how can you go wrong with a shirt and studded collar? Asda is completely underrated and I always feel a bit silly saying "oh it's from asda" but they have some really good stuff bang on trend.

What really drew me to this shirt was the thicker khaki panel at the top half of the shirt, although you can't really tell where I've tucked in, so i don't have to go through the fuss of trying to find an appropriate vest to go underneath. (Is it just me that can never find a plain vest top when I need one?)

I don't know if anyone saw on twitter but I did mention about my little DIY project which was just literally sewing lace around the edge of my velvet shorts! I finally got around to doing it today and can now finally where them!:} Post should be up soon.

Amethyst - The stone of spirituality

(Hello wonky fingers)

I kept my outfit for college pretty simple today as we were going to the RSPCA (heart breaking) and the animal testing labs in Portsmouth Uni, which was interesting but I'm not for.

This post is really for my gorgeous necklace, it's an amethyst crystal, which some people believe has 'healing' and 'enhancing' purposes, you could call it this particular one is said to cure insomnia; I find things like this fascinating.

I got it  from Harts+Crosses which is a lovely online store mainly selling jewellery but also accessories and a few vintage items, which I think is a pretty new thing. I featured this necklace on my wishlist here after it had gone in the sale for just £3 and mentioned it on twitter; where it turned out to be the last one left and @hartscrosses actually reserved it for me for when I was ready to buy it! I thought this was lovely and I think she really went out of her way for me, which I'm so grateful for. NOT only did she do that but she even included the two rose rings as a little freebie. You should definitely check the website out!

On a side note, I'm pretty sure I've chosen what to course I'd like to do for college when I go back for another two years,  a bore I know but I found the course I'm on just isn't for me even though I adore animals! It's a fashion and clothing BTEC Level 3 Diploma (I'm no good at exams) at Southdowns College, if you want to check it out just click here! :)

"Simplicity is the keynote of all true elegance.” - Coco Chanel

I've had a bit of a rubbish weekend, I was ill Saturday and Sunday was my day of recovery and an afternoon of sitting in my pyjamas with my quilt watching Dog the Bounty Hunter! So I thought today I'd wear something nice to make myself feel better, like you need to.

The dress is nothing you haven't already seen and like so many others I'd thought I'd throw a knitted jumper over, it's a last year buy that I never really wore; it's a gorgeous colour but it's short body and that bugged me.

I also haven't got to show you my oversize denim jacket, at first I thought I'd managed to find something too oversized if that's possible? But actually I adore it even though it's completely unflattering and makes me look about 20stone!

OOTD - The hungry lion roars and the wolf behowls the moon

Top: Oldie
Skirt: Primark

Could we take the time to appreciate this top I have recently re-discovered, I completely forgot I had it and it's just been hidden at the back of my draws for sometime now! I adore wolves and have about 3 dream catchers (another love of mine) with a wolf incorporated into  it, they're just so majestic and I'm completely in awe of them. It's quite a pale design and not all that noticeable, so I was pretty ecstatic when it showed up on camera much better then I thought it would.

My skirt however, is a different story, I don't think it's captured how it looks on at all; here I think it's quite frumpy and un-flattering, whereas in person it's flowey and adds that feminine factor. Maybe it's because I can't seem to stand without looking awkward, probably.

You can definitely tell I have had my hair done here, unlike the previous photos and it shows the ombre effect much clearer; I adore it my hair has life again, it looks thicker and has more oomph. Apparently though you are supposed to dye your hair darker for autumn and winter? ah well. I also wore my lipstick today, although I took these pictures later on in the day and it's the sad remains. The lipstick, however, is 08 Tuscan  Red from the MeMeMe collection in Superdrug, it's a gorgeous colour and seems to transform my face, in a good way!
