Disney Inspired #2

Links on my polyvore
So I think this might be a little series either monthly or every other week, not sure yet, but I really enjoy creating them; even if its not everyones cup of tea. We can't all like the same thing right?! Creating these aren't about making them exactly the same but taking inspiration and making them into something you can wear daily, taking aspects from the film and the character to create an outfit!

Tangled is probably my favourite Disney film, I love everything about it, so it only makes sense that I do an outfit inspired by it right?! I chose a midi skirt because shes always on the moving, swinging by her hair fighting with a frying the pan, the usual things really! A pleated midi is the right length to be doing various things without feeling restricted and elegant enough that its almost royally. I added white vans because well bare foot just isn't cutting it for me! I thought adding the lizard ear cuff was a cute aspect to the outfit because of the chameleon that is always sitting on her shoulder!

OOTD - Little Mix

Jumpsuit - Topshop
Denim shirt - Muvs wardrobe
Vans - Schuh

Sunday just gone I was the responsible adult so my sister could see Little Mix, I wanted to be comfortable but look decent, I'm spending an evening out ya know? I wore this Jumpsuit, which is perfect for all year round and you can do so much with day or night; maybe I'll do a blog post is that something you'd like?! I paired it with my purple vans for a little colour and a denim shirt for maximum comfort.

Although Little Mix is not my kind of music, they are very good performers.Their set up, outfits and delightful male backing dancers were faultless and they're vocals are pretty superb too, I can appreciate good music of all kinds if I have too!

OOTD - Tripping around London

Top - Lauren Ralph Designs
Jeans - Topshop
Converse - Schuh

First it literally looks like I live in these jeans, which is true but I promise they do get washed and secondly why has my face blurred?! Anyway life questions aside this is something I wore when I went on a trip to London with College, We basically just had to look around shops; bonus or what?! It was very humid in London so I was glad I chose this top and I actually had my arms. (shock) I love the print on this top, which is actually part of a two piece but its just too cold for the shorts at the moment and they wouldn't go with tights. What I really like about this top is that only a few have been made from this fabric all the way from Uganda (I think) so its not something you can just pick up of the highstreet!

Look out for the whole two piece in the future!

OOTD - Oh wow!

Crop - H&M (old)
Skirt - Topshop (old)
Bag - New Look
Vans - Schuh

We've had such lovely weather at the moment, that not even I can complain about, I mean come on my legs are out! Okay so its a midi skirt and it's about an inch but that counts right?! I've had this skirt for a couple of years but I hardly ever got round to wearing it but it called to me this morning, I paired it with a lose crop and my vans for maximum comfort!

19 is practically OAP!

On Saturday it was my birthday, I'm now 19 which makes me feel super old, I'm practically an OAP! Forget that tattoo I'm saving for, its a mobility scooter my money is supposed to be going on! I saw my dad for a couple of hours, had a pub lunch then went back to my uncles for a good ol' BBQ, here are a few snaps from the day!

Playsuit - Love clothing sample sale
Leather Jacket - Topshop
Unfortunately I never got an OOTD of this playsuit but hopefully I'll be able to get one up soon, if that's cool with you lot of course!

I'm now the proud owner of a Harry Potter wand and I feel no shame. I'm also one of those who wouldn't be able to decide what side I'm on, sorry!

I wanted to include this because super cute, my little sister made this for me letting me know she wrote the message in a banner just like my blog name, whatta cutie!

OOTD - We Will Rock You!

Crop - Missguided x Nicole Sherzinger
Jeans - Topshop
Socks - Primark
Shoes - Ebay

So yesterday I went to watch We Will Rock You for the first and more then likely last time as it stops showing after 12 years on the 31st of May! I wanted to wear something comfortable for walking around the streets of London and sitting in the theatre; but was also a little dressy. I new this top was perfect and I finally got to wear it out because we had both sun and heat, shocker!! These shoes were actually super comfy and only started hurting as we got to the theatre about and they were an Ebay bargain what's not to like?!

We Will Rock You was amazing and I'm pretty gutted I won't be able to watch it again, its definitely up there in my Top 3 alongside Dirty Dancing and Chicago. If you don't know its a musical containing only Queen songs, which is a reason to go see it in itself, no?
It's set in the future when Rock and Roll has died and we now live on the Iplanet where people are encouraged to stay in and music is made on the computer and it all started because of Auto tuning, is this sounding a little familiar?! Are we going to be the start of the death of Rock and Roll? Yeah probably! It's based about a group of Bohemians rebelling and looking to bring Rock and Roll back! Also it contains a whole lot of hip thrusting and gyrating oh and you never thought you'd love Britney Spears so much!

If you get the opportunity before the 31st of May then do so!!

Disney Inspired #1

Kida - The Lost City of Atlantis

Links on my Polyvore

I've been thinking about doing something like this for ages after coming across a YouTube channel that does this and more and I really liked the idea of it. I did want to do it with clothing I own, but my wardrobe doesn't allow to me extend to some of the characters and what I had in mind, this way it gives me loads more options!

I actually watched The Lost City of Atlantis on Monday when I was feeling ill (along with Princess and the frog) it was a film I watched all the time when I was younger and I saw it in Asda for £5 and snapped it up! I wanted to do an outfit that I would wear, keeping it as true to myself and you guys as possible.

I chose this gorgeous blue wrap skirt and paired it with an orange crop top, as you can see in the photo of Kida these are the basis of the colours she wears. In the film when they first meet Kida she's almost monkey like along with the other Atlantians, so I thought a backpack would be pretty appropriate for moving are as quick as possible without it getting in the way and the shoes well you can throw them to the side or in the bag when they get annyoing. I chose this gorgeous crystal necklace because those crystals are a pretty big deal for the Atlantians.

I hope you guys like this post and maybe they'll be more!

Jumper - Topshop (old)
Vest top - Primark
Jeans - Topshop

First I want to apologise how I look, hence facing down in hope of hiding my fringe, but I had to take these in the evening, so yeah. Forgive me?

I've had this jumper for almost 2 years now maybe more, I got it for a throw over if it got chilly on holiday, and this must be only the second time I've worn it! It's just a basic stripy knit jumper that is lightweight perfect for bunging in a bag on holiday or wearing with a pair of jeans during the spring/summer; when you're basically layering everything you own.

I kept it pretty simple with a plain black vest top underneath but I think a neon coloured or a cropped version would add a bit of something to this outfit. It also leaves open a whole variety of shoes and bag options, what's not to like?!

I'm on lookbook!

I've had LookBook for so long now and have been getting outfit inspiration from there for even longer! There is such a diverse range of styles on there and with just click of a button or a little search there are so many different outfits all around the world to source ideas from.

Its only been recently though that I've managed to upload any photos, we probably all know by now about the lack of blogging recently, that I feel are worthy to upload! It would definitely make me happy if you could fan me or hype an outfit you're particularly liking!

Leave me your links in a comment below and I'll check it out!

OOTD - Lets take a celfie!

Yes I really did just say that, cringe!

Celfie tee - Love Clothing
Mom Shorts - Topshop
Shirt - Old
Chain - Old
Belt - Asos
slip on plimsolls - Asos

For college, I like to be comfy but I also like to make some type of effort and I don't know how I've yet had to feature any of these items, excluding the shoes, seeing as I've worn them so many times already!

Now the Celfie Tee you have seen everywhere but I just think its a fun take on a casual tee and we're all guilty of taking a selfie every now and then just check out our instagrams?! I just paired it with these Mom shorts from Toppers, which I'm pretty sure are still online, I love the oversized look of these shorts and they actually give my bottom full coverage. Praise the lord!

I placed a shirt over the top not only because I like the grunge element it gives the outfit, but for the unpredictable English weather. One minute its hot the next its cold, it's giving me a headache and chills! But I also wore it so I felt more comfortable, these tights are lot thinner then my usual choice and I felt practically naked in these shorts, oh god!

OOTD - florals and fedoras

Fedora - Asos
Shirt - Muvs Wardrobe
Jeans - Topshop
Vans - Schuh (old)

I am so glad I brought this hat thanks to a fellow blogger I chat to on Twitter, I'd been deliberating about it for ages and with a lot of persuasion (read very little) I got one. Check out Asos for some really great ones, I got this one in the sale, bargain!

I kept my outfit casual as I was just running some errands and seeing my nan for the day and I love the understated look of just a shirt and jeans at the moment! This floral one is one I steal regularly from my muvs wardrobe, whoops!

OOTD - Ahoy!

Top - Topshop (old)
Jeans - Topshop
Shoes - My Muvs

I really like this outfit, although its very simple and comfortable, the small finishing touches really make the outfit! I definitely feel like a sailor or that I should be lounging on a boat somewhere with the dock shoes and striped tee. I forgot to photograph my jacket which is just a basic green hooded jacket from Topshop, the picture below is just a little snapshot from above, their all the rage on Instagram, dontcha know?! But it really brings together the whole 'sailor' vibe of this outfit!

Also I'd like to say a little shoutout to these shoes, they are bloody comfortable and everyone needs a pair in their life!
