OOTD - Casual Tailor

V neck - Forever 21 / Trousers- Primark / Slip ons -Asos
Blogging tip #1 don't take photos with your brother in the room, you'll get distracted and only get one decent photo out of about a million. You saw these trousers in a previous post a little more dressed up but I'm far more casual and wanted a go at making what is usually a smart piece a lot more casual which I think I achieved.

I just paired these gorgeous trousers, I'm still in awe that they're just from Primark, with a basic v-neck top and my oil slick slip ons. I think this neckline is more flattering then the usual tshirt and the oil slick slip ons add an extra dimension to the outfit, stopping it from being boring.

Dressing for an NFL game

This is probably more of a post for any American readers that pop over to my blog, but that doesn't mean us English can't enjoy it either right? But hey if you're going to watch any type of football inspiration could be founded in this! NFL if you didn't know is Americas National Football league and the football games are about to start!

Now I'm no sport fanatic, actually I find it all incredibly boring, but American Football(alongside rugby) is actually a sport I will willingly watch and enjoy; even if the only stuff I know I learn from The Blindside! I created two looks based around NFL jerseys for any of you game goers.

Jersey can be found here
Everything else can be found on my Polyvore
This is a more of an autumn look, at a game I'd want to be as comfortable as possible so I decided to pair this Chicago Bears jersey with these distressed jeans to come away from just the everyday skinny jean. For accessories I chose these faux fur slip ons to add a bit of texture and detail to this simple outfit. I also chose a slouchy backpack as its a lot more casual then a handbag and easier to carry and this statement beanie to add a little fun to the outfit. Then just a leather jacket for extra warmth.

Jersey can be found here
This is for those in a slightly warmer climate and like to wear your jersey at or out of a game. I just paired it with these distressed shorts, can you tell I'm loving the distressed jeans look this summer/autumn, and a pair of Dr Martens to toughen up the look. I again chose a slouchy backpack in a black colour.

I hope you enjoyed this post its a little different!

I was asked to write this post, I wasn't paid and everything is my own work

OOTD - College comfort

Top - Topshop (old) Jumpsuit - Topshop / Shoes - Asos

College for me is all about dressing for comfort while looking like I've made an effort. A jumpsuit, especially in this style, is perfect for the occasion. I just paired it with a bright tee to keep with the summer vibe.

Pointless answers to pointless questions

I think I was in the bath when this post idea came to me, we bloggers and YouTubers do get to know me tags, which basically are just questions you're asked in everyday life. Yawn. What about those interesting question no one cares about, that's when you truly get to know someone, no?!

  1. If you had a super power what would it be?
I'd have control of the elements: water, wind, fire, nature. I mean how cool would that be,  I think it stems from a cartoon I used to watch as a kids W.I.T.C.H any one else remember that?!
  2. What is your favourite quote?
It'd have to be my tattoo, it's 100% true and its from one of my favourite things of all time.

" Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times if one remembers to turn out the light" - Dumbledore
  3. Last song you listened to?
Jake Bug - Me and You

  4. Favourite place/city in the UK?
Newquay in Cornwall or Bath both such beautiful places even if I've only been a handful of times; something about them just call me to them.
  5. What is your dream pet?
A dragon or a dinosaur, they're kind of similar right?! I've always wanted a dragon ever since I was little, playing games where I had an imaginary dragon and I had the cutest baby dinosaur teddy that folded into an egg. I was child that was away with the fairies can you tell?
  6. Favourite time of day?
I love the moon and the stars but I'm scared of the dark and freak myself out easily so walking around at night is not my idea of fun. I literally have no idea, I'll go with night.
  7. What was your dream job as a child?
To be a spy, I'm still holding out for that by the way I think I'd pretty good at it just saying.
  8. How many sugars do you have in your tea?
    I don't drink tea but if I do I have 2 sugars
  9. If you could visit or live in a fictional place where would it be?
    Hogwarts duh!
  10. Dream car?
    69' Mustang or a Bugatti

Feel free to do the same post and even add your own questions, leave a comment if you do!

OOTD - Dressing for a boy band

Fedora - Asos / White V-neck - Forever 21 / Jeans - Topshop / Shoes - Asos / Bag - Asos / Lipstick - Mac Ruby Woo
The first thing I thought of when I put this outfit together was boy band, I'm officially One Directions 6th member, its a definite comfy outfit perfect for college or a day or running about. I think a white simple V-neck tee and ripped jeans adds an extra dimension to what is essential just jeans and a tee. I paired it with my favourite slips of the moment, my fedora (obvs) a leather jacket for the outside and red lipstick to add a pop of colour and to take away from looking like a boy?!

This is definitely going to be my go to outfit for ultimate comfort!

OOTD - Charity shop find

As you can probably gather I found this dress in a Charity shop, its from H&M and  it caught my eyes as I walked in. It's casual for day to day use and the colours are perfect to carry through both summer and winter. I just paired it with a pair of comfy vans and my New Look backpack, which is now in loads of autumn colours.

I chose to wear this when I went to Brighton for the first time, where I visited The Royal Pavillion, I intended to take loads of photos but you can't take any inside so that kind of failed. By the way if you go to Brighton you need to go there the architecture and the inside is just amazing!

WONDER'FULL Mascara Review

If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen me post the picture above about some of my make up buys and because WONDER'FULL is a newer mascara I thought I'd give it a go because I genuinely quite like it!

WONDER'FULL is a mascara with Argan Oil in it which honestly is what drew me towards it and well I needed a new mascara. As you can see from the before and after photo above it elongates the eye lashes and makes them more noticeable in a subtle way. This girl doesn't want spider legs. It has yet to clump my eyelashes on me and the brush is a lot nicer then my old mascara.

So I'm no make up enthusiast, I wear it when I can be bothered and this is actually a pretty terrible review, forgive me?! Also if you want me to write up anything on the other make up in that photo let me know!

Back to college stationary haul!

Bag from Asos
All from Wilkos
All from Paperchase
So I go back to college next week and I just got a few bits and bobs to start the new year and attempt to get organised and thought I'd show them to you. Admittedly everything that drew me to it are super cute and look at those paper clips and tshirt sticky notes, I study fashion how could I not buy them?!

OOTD - Trying to look like a lady

Jumper - Asda /  Necklace - old / Trousers - Primark / Shoes - Primark /

So first my trousers have come out a cobalt blue when really they're more of an emerald green (I think) so I don't know what went wrong there. But hopefully its not going to bother you too much; in Primark they do have these in various colours though.

I went for a more put together and 'posh' look when styling up this trousers, mainly because I wanted to wear this jumper top thing and I thought the pearl collar would look super cute so hence the pairing. This is definitely a more smarter look especially for me but I think it works and I can't wait to style up these trousers even more, so expect to see these a lot this A/W. Also I even curled my hair that is super feminine, high five me.

Also here's what happens when my brother is in the room when I'm taking outfit posts...

Not such a domestic goddess

Chocky Rocky Road Crunch

I attempted my first bit of baking and tried to bask in being domestic goddess but actually it didn't turn out that pretty and is mixing stuff and putting it in the fridge even considered baking?!
I mean my cooking consists of boiling potatoes or frozen chips in the fryer and southern fried chicken in the oven, I'm definitely not known for my culinary skills; but these are easy and I wanted a go. Anyway I'll shut up now.

125g of soft unsalted butter / 300g of chocolate / 3 tbsp of golden syrup / 200g of rich tea / 100g of mini marshmallows /
Crush  the biscuits so some are in small pieces and others are only crumbs
Heat the butter, chocolate and syrup in a heavy based saucepan. Remove and set aside 125ml of the mixture to the side.
Add the marshmallows to the mixture
Put mixture in a baking tin and pour the extra mixture over the top

Leave in the fridge  between 2 and 24 hours

See I told you its not the prettiest looking thing, definitely not Pinterest worthy. But it sure did taste good, somewhere went wrong though I'm sure of it we used all the right measurements but it felt like it either needed more chocolate or less biscuit and marshmallow.

It was a little something different and fun!
