10 things to do this autumn/fall

  1. Take a walk
I love walks and what's better then getting layered up and going for a walk in the woodlands. The leaves are turning red and getting ready to crunch.
  2. It's the beginning of stew season
I love stews and we only have them when it's cold, I'm looking out for a great recipe now I'm vegetarian.

  3. Carve a pumpkin
    Well it is Halloween soon

  4. Movie nights with friends

  5. Get creative
This is the perfect time to start a project, it's more then likely cold and wet outside!

  6. Have or go to a bonfire

  7. Start a box set

  8. Shopping
Not the best if you don't have money but any excuse, am I right?!

  9. Find blog inspiration
You can find blog inspiration anywhere, you'll be able to find new ones now the seasons are changing!

  10. Read a new book or books. Set yourself a challenge.

What's one thing you love to do in the autumn?!

A Fashion regret

Now I know we're all supposed to live in this world where we don't regret things because they are what make us learn and grow. But come on there is always going to be something you look back on that makes you cringe and most of them are probably going to be fashion related!

One of my fashion regrets, you can find way back when I started my blog and that's the legging as trousers phase. I don't mean the one where I wore leggings and a tee, no I mean the phase when I used to tuck tops into my leggings as if they were a joni jean. seriously why?!

So have fun laughing at some of these disastrous throwback photos. I really hope my photography skills have improved since.

WHY?! I just don't understand.

As you can tell I really loved those peace leggings. I thought this was just a fun little post and I hope you enjoyed. Feel free to leave fashion regret in the comments below or even do a post and leave the link!

OOTD - Vibes

Top - Primark / Trousers - Topshop / Shoes - Primark

I am so in love with these trousers, it's unreal and I've been saving them until I could get the best photos I could for my blog! I've been loving wide leg trouser trend recently and even for a 5ft girl I was definitely not going to miss out on this trend and actually I feel like I've grown a couple of inches in these bad boys.

Because the trousers are so loud, I wanted them to be the vocal point of my outfit, they deserve to be. So I simply styled them with this cropped knit top that I got in Primark this summer, which I think became a bit of "cult blogger item" to create some serious 70's vibes.

These photos were taking by Emma, you can find her blog here. If you live on the south east coast and looking for someone to take your outfit photos Emma could be your girl!

Growing up a Potterhead

Potterhead [Potter-head] -
Amazingly cool people who are obsessed with Harry Potter.

  1. Being Fluent in Parseltongue
I had Nagini's ancestor to prove it. I was a very imaginative child.
  2. 3 words - Harry Potter Wiki
The amount of time I spent here is kind of
Riddikulus (eh eh) No boggarts lurking here my friends.
  3. Constantly torn between Harry and Malfoy, Slytherin and
    Gryffindor, Good or Evil.
  4. Being banned from buying Harry Potter Scene It because I'd win at all the questions.
  5. Having read the books at least 9 times.
I stopped counting after that, sorry.
  6. Harry Potter Marathons, midnight cinema viewings
  7. Crying through the books pretty much after the Prisoner of Azkaban. All the deaths, all the feels.
  8. Harry Potter Parodys and knowing all the words.
My favourite one must have been deleted of the You of the Tube but it went something like "I'm a boy named Harry and my parents are dead now I'm hanging in the ghetto earning wizard street cred"

  9. Teaching your little brother to refer to himself as Dumbledore
I really wish he still done that, proudest moment of my life.
  10. Still waiting on that acceptance letter, 9 years on.
A little insight into how weird I was as a kid and lets be honest still am!

OOTD - Fries before guys

Top - Ella Masters // Jeans - Topshop // Belt - Asos // Bag - Asos

I've finally documented this top on my blog, I've had it for almost a year I think and it's one of my all time favourite graphic tees. Anyone who knows me knows how on point this top on for me!

So the outfit is not so flattering but this is the most "me" outfit, this is something I wear all the time and if I only had one outfit for life this would probably be it! Like all outfits I kept the styling simple by just pairing the tee with my mom jeans, a pair of vans. The ultimate comfy outfit. For a little summin summin I wore my teeny rucksack from Asos which is perfect for when I just want to carry my camera and the few essentials and I'll also got in the sale; talk about a bargain!

Once again thank you to Emma who took the photos, you can find her blog here! If you're looking for someone took take outfit photos for you and you live in the Portsmouth area, Emma is the girl for you!

OOTD - Farmer chic

Dungarees - Zara (kids) / Top - Primark / Shoes - Ugg

Confession time: Every time I've put these dungarees on I've done a little dance and sung about my brand new combine-harvester!

I've been umming and ahhing about dungarees since earlier this year, then I was looking for the perfect pair in the petite section, to no avail. Then I decided I'd scour the kids section and Zara came up trumps. Dungarees are surprisingly easy to style and they're are incredibly comfortable; two major pluses no?

I simple paired them with this slightly cropped tee I picked up and my moccasins for ultimate comfort and that farmer chic. The dungarees are definitely what do the talking in this outfit. I'm thinking of maybe doing a post on how to style them up, so keep an eye out for that!

I want to say a massive thank you to Emma, you can find her blog here, for taking these photos for me. If you're in the south east coast, Portsmouth way and looking for someone to take outfit photos for you, Emma is definitely your girl!

NOTD #1 - Barry M Speedy

I rarely paint my nails, in fact I'm terrible at it! It goes on my fingers, its messy and I will leave it to chip away for weeks. I'm just terrible at being a girl. But every now and then I feel the urge to paint my nails, only if I the brush is a wide one mind you. So that gives me one other colour other then these two.

One of my birthday presents was an envelope one from my best friend, you know the ones where you get a batch of envelopes which you open according to what it says on the front and inside were these. I'm so impressed with them I thought I'd blog about it!

I wanted to use both of them so I just done a simple one nail that's a different colour. The wide brush makes it much easier to apply the paint evenly to your nail ie good for the beauty challenged ie me. They last unchipped for at least a 2/3 days. I'd definitely go out a buy from this range again.
